Hi,
I have a lAN which including 2 different domains, all
users use a single exchange server 2000 on domain1, and
both domain users have an account on domain1 AD. they also
use the same DHCP server on domain1. all users on both
domain use OL2000.everything is fine except resource
booking. users on domain2 can not book any resources. when
they try, an email bounces back and says:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended
recipients.

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

<Exchange-name.domain1.com #5.7.1>

All users use IMAP (direct access to exchange).

Any idea?

Thanks-Rob

The users must have Create Items permissions on the resource as the resource
can't really accept the invitation. To prevent all users from "spamming" the
resource with invitations you must set permissions on the resource to who
can book the resource.

Hope this helps.

The simple test to see if Direct Booking of a resource will ever work is to
have a user attempt to open the Calendar folder for the Resource account
using "File - Open other user's folder". If this fails, direct booking will
never work.

Hope this helps.

Yes, you'r right i already tested that, those people can
not open resource's Calendar.
But the question is: how can I fix that?
Thanks-Ali

Well, it appears to be a domain trust/forest issue. I know that sounds
obvious, but I think you need to explore how these two domains are
configured.
