Resolution Problem

I was presenting a class from my laptop (IBM T30 running W2KPRO while
attached to a Sony LCD Display device...something I have done 100's of times
with this laptop. For some reason, after the presentation, when going to
1024X768 resolution, there is now a large black border around the
resolution. The only way to fill the entire screen is to put it in 1400X1050
resultion. What is the black border around the displayable screen?

When you change screen resolution sometimes the viewable area as determined by the monitor can change. Use the Menu for the Monitor to get things back to normal after you change the screen resolution.
