Resolution change from 800x600 to 1024x768 for 17" LG crt

Hello Global Friends,
After increasing the Resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 for a LG 17" CRT
monitor, some non-microsoft program windows and fonts are very small in
size.

For example the window of `Xteq Explorer Launpad' software from
http://www.xteq.com

What is the solution for this other than reverse back to 800x600 resoultion?
Your kindest most honest response will be appreciated.

After increasing the font sizes and icon sizes most of the Program windows
and fonts were increased. But not many Non-microsoft program windows. For
example Xteq Explorer window and NetMeter software window.

Not increased the `DPI settings' as it will reverse back to the old phase /
stage Resolution with minor enhancements.

You could change the font sizes in the "Display Properties" -
"Appearance" tab, "Advanced" button from the things in the Items list
which have fonts. Do this for all the themes that you have.
