Hi All, Is it necessary/essential to use a "Anti Glare Screen Filter" for
kids 17" CRT Monitor (LG model no. 775N)?

Your kindest most honest response will be appreciated.

No. Just place any room lights off to the side, try to keep the location of
the monitor so that a house windows is not directly behind the person using
the monitor and tilt the monitor slightly down. This will keep the number of
bright reflection off the glass face of the monitor. Set the refresh rate to
76Hz or higher to reduce eye strain.
