Resizing the partitioned C Drive??

I have a partitioned C drive ( C & D) and want to increase the C drive
partition, can this be done?? I did not realise the folders were only secure
in the my documents on the C drive so therefore I now need more space on C
and thus reduce D drive accordingly.

This is not true... You can protect any folder on NTFS drive. You just have
to turn off Simple file sharing... as explained in my answer to your
previous post...

Make sure your partitions/drives are formatted as NTFS!

But to also answer your question, yes it is possible to extend any partition
that is not system or boot partition. For this operation your would use
command line utility in WindowsXP "DiskPart". Details are in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;300415 Look for
"Extend" command.

There are also some 3rd party utilities that you can use to extend even
system and boot partition but they can also cause problems (loss of data)
