Resizing dynamic disks

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to or use which tools to resize a dynamic disk
partition??? I need this to resize my first dynamic disk to 4GB less to
create a mirror set (the new disks is somewhat smaller than the original
disk).

This requires a backup, recreation and restore, as there are no tools
within Win2000 that can reduce the size of a volume on a dynamic disk, and
third party tools does currently not work with dynamic disks.
