Resetting Startup Processes

How to reset my startup processes to the original Windows
XP settings? I want to elimate processes that I don't
need.

If by "startup processes" you mean the Windows XP system services that start
automatically with Windows, you should know that these services can vary
with different installations. For a retail installation of Windows, find the
