Resetting password

I have Windows XP. I've forgotten my password, and can
only access the accounts I've created for the rest of my
family. Does anyone know a way of resetting the password
short of reinstalling the software and losing a lot of
stuff?

This is a Microsoft Access (the database application) newsgroup.

Yet another reason to rename this Newsgroup.

This is an Microsoft Access Newsgroup. Questions
unrelateed to Microsoft
Access Databases should be asked in another newsgroup.

Renaming a newsgroup is not as easy as it sounds.

People are getting to this newsgroup because they click on Security in the
list of newsgroups, and then see Access Security. It is easy to see why
they post what they do.

This newsgroup can also be reached by clicking on Office, Access, and then
Security - going that route are the ones wanting to ask questions about
security in Access.

The real problem is that the newsgroup is listed under the first - it should
be removed from there.

I was curious if you received a reply. I have the exact
same problem. I thought if you hadn't received a reply
yet, I would be waiting for a day or two for a reply
myself. Thank you and good luck with your problem Kent

Kent, you should ask your question in a newsgroup for WindowsXP. This
newsgroup is for security in Access, the database product.
