If you did not image your hard disk yesterday, you cannot restore your
computer to yesterday. However, you may be able to restore yesterday's
version of certain key system files, including the registry, by using
System Restore. If you do not have a restore point with yesterday's
date, you won't be able to do this either.
To use System Restore: Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools
