screen, it is at the top of the screen at the moment and
covering alomost one quarter of the screen. Cheers.

hello,
just click and hold on to the task bar and then drag
it to the bottom of your screen. if this doesn't work,
right click on the task bar and click on lock the task
bar and then try the earlier.

Betty,

right click on the taskbar and uncheck lock task bar, if it's checked.
The grab the taskbar with the mouse and drag it to the bottom of the
screen. You can then right click on the task bar and click lock task
bar if you want.

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the
screen, it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move
it from any side to another, simply click on an unused part of it
and drag it where you want it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on
it and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.

After you've moved it, to make it smaller, grab the top edge with
the mouse (let the mouse cursor turn into a two-headed arrow),
then drag that edge downward to make it smaller.
