Reset search ability in address bar after browser hijack

Hi, I had my browser hijacked and after removing the
problem using Ad-Aware, I can not search in the address
bar. I have tried to reset it using the search
customization and changing the service used and also
turning on and off the ability to search from the address
bar in the IE preferences to no avail. Any other
suggestions? Thanks.

This happened to me as well, I used hijackthis at
www.spywareinfo.com to remove a regestry key. I believe
thay www.kells-korner.com has a fix for this as well
under tweaks. spywareblaster from www.wilderssecurity may
help prevent future hijackings
