Reset "Do not show this warning again" check box?

If I've checked the box "do not show this warning again" is there a way I can
reset it so that it DOES show the warning again? Specifically, this is a
warning about resetting my resolution to a non-optimal setting.
Thanks

Unfortunately, this type of question has different answers dependent on which
dialog box had the "do not show again" checkbox.

In your case, I'll assume this is the dialog box you get after you've dragged
the slider in Desktop Properties -> Settings -> Screen resolution. You can
get back the dialog box by pressing Advanced. Under Compatibility, make sure
the option "Ask me before applying the new settings" is selected.

This should give you back the dialog (I hope that's the right one).

If it's the wrong dialog, sorry for wasting your time.
