Hi All
was just mucking about (stupid) and saw I could load performance defaults in
BIOS thought this might make it perform better, then it kept saying no system
disk in CD drive, Rang IT shop he told me to set the bios to recognise my
sata drives as IDE not raid as they were put in separately, that started to
work but then said cant find operaating system put system disk in A.anyone
help?
Can I used one of the drives (the one that hasn't much on it) to load
windows and will I be able to access the other drive that has windows on it.

Actually when setting BIOS to "load set up defaults" or "load performance
defauls"
the BIOS looks and sets the boot priority to floppy 1st,IDE 2nd,it wont
even set
for RAID or SATA.Its fine to set as you did, however one must re enter BIOS
and
set-In advanced, boot priority-set to SATA or RAID(sometimes listed as add in
device),then,integrated peripherals-on chip SATA.With RAID thiers usually 1
or 2
more settings to set.You dont need drivers to set the BIOS,also,go to the mfg
web site, download and read the owners manual....
