Raid Setup with XP Pro 32bit

New build w/Abit AN8 Ultra mb. Using 2 seagate 80 MB SATAII HD. Bios set up
for a Raid 0 in the bios w/32bit stripe. The bios sees and accepts the raid
array, status OK. When I attempt to load XP Pro using the F6 function to load
the raid drivers, it comes up missing or unable to load the nvraid.sys file.
I have verified the file is on the driver disk. All reattempts fail to work
and I have tried downloading a new raid driver disk. The closest I got was a
missing file hll.dll which it said to reload. How would I do that because
windows would not start?

I added a 3rd SATA II drive, not in the raid array. XP loaded fine with no
raid drivers installed and sees the "array" in the proper size. I attempted
to format the array, but it only formats one of the drives. In exploring the
drive, there is the attempted XP load in the array, and it shows 69 mb used.
Even after the format???

Help????

F6 doesnt use a disk for copying the RAID controller drivers,it only runs
with a floppy.....You can get the floppy drivers from
intel,chipsets,application
accelerator for RAID,or for newer controllers matrix storage for RAID.

Your mobo manual explains how, in particular installing Nvidea raid drivers
from floppy

A pair of drives in RAID 0 configuration would appear as one larger drive to
XP.
