Reset a function key

Yes.
Tools > Customize > Keyboard (button)

Find the "All Commands" category in the left window and then "Help" in the
right window.
Click in the window for "Press new shortcut key" and press F1.

If it tells you it is already assigned, click on the Assign button.
Close the box and then close Word.
