Reservation in Major/Minor DHCP scopes

Is there any way of getting PCs to prefer a particular DHCP server when
using a major and minor scopes on different servers on a VLAN?
The split scopes work well but aprt from the fact that reserved
addresses don't work consistently as the reservations they are only
present on one of the servers.

Right click My Network Places, then high-light the LAN interface, right
click, properties. (I just fell back to Win2000 from WinXP, my memory
could be wrong).
