rerouting links?

Starting today when ever I search something at google
it trys to take me to my pick but then suddenly my
browser (MS Explorer) is rerouted to some advertising
link.
Do I have a malicious browser hijacker or virus? How can I fix this?

How can I fix this?

Anti-Spyware, Anti-virus, Winsock Fixer.

We already tried Winsock Fixer, it broke the network ability
of this node. We then tried everything to fix the connection
including uninstalling it and reinstalling but no connection. So
we rolled the system back a few days and we are now back
to the original problem. So I guess we will try a anti-virus app.
Any ideas on why the Winsock fix did not work ?
