Hi all,

I need to password protect one specific file in Word 2007. I want anyone
(including my own account) that tries to access it, to be prompted for a
password. I used to do this easily on a 2003 version of word and now I cant
figure out how. Do I have to buy special software? If so, which one is
reliable?
Please use small words, I'm barely computer litterate.
Thanks in advance for any help..

In the File Save-As dialog, use the pulldown from the Tools item (now in the
bottom left of the dialog) and select General Options.

Thanks Doug, but no unfortunately that didn´t work either. Word isn´t
prompting for a password evewn though I already assigned one.
But thank you for taking the time to reply anyway.
