Request Help With Bizarre Error Message

Hi,

I hope you guys (and ladies) can help. I am trying to
delete a folder with mp3 files in it, and although I can
clearly see the mp3's in the file I get this error:

ERROR DELETEING FILE OR FOLDER

Cannot delete THEALL~1.MP3: Cannot find the specified
file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file
name.

The folder is named "The Allman Brothers Band", thus
THEALL~1.MP3 above. It's weird to me because I uploaded
the discs just fine, burned the data, and now I can't
delete any of it.

I looked around the Microsoft KB and didn't see anything
that addressed this error specifically, so I guess the
question would be "How do I make sure I specify the
correct path and file name?"

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your folder is called "Theall~1.mp3"

have you tried deleting it from DOS / CMD?

That's what's weird, that's not the folder name. That's
a name I've only seen appear in the error message.

No, I have not tried deleting it from DOS/CMD...I'm
embarrassed to say that I don't know how. Any insight
would be wonderful.
