req: news client that threads by subject

Is there a newsreader that threads articles, apart from normal threading, by
subject, putting all artivles with the same first x characters in one
thread? Super Gravity does this, but I would like one that can show
attachments in the view pane.

I am using Netscape 4.8 and under View / Sort there is a "by subject"
choice.
