I am having problems accessing MS Access reports on my company computer.

I am unable to open exiting reports. There is no reponse to the Reports
design icon. New - Report wizard and AutoReport return a dialogue "The wizard
is unable to create your report".

I am running MS Access 2003 with Windows XP professional SP2 with all
available updates.

Please can you suggest any solutions oir further places to look for help.

Thanks.

Access uses the metrics from the printer driver to calculate the layout of
the reports. If there is no printer driver installed, or if there is a
problem with the printer driver, the behavior is as you describe.

In Access 2003, this can happen with network printers that work in other
software (like Word), but fail in Access. If you have these symptoms,
install another local printer driver. (You don't have to buy a printer: just
install an old Epson driver or something.) If the reports can now be
previewed, contact your network administratror to fix the problem with the
network printer driver.
