Reports in business contact manager for Outlook 2003

Every time I try to run a business report, error message comes up.."Cannot
generate this report....see administrator". I am running this on my laptop
and not on a network.

Hi, Don:

Well, I hope you have better luck than I have had. I posted here on
September 6th, after searching this entire group for solutions, and asked if
anyone actually KNEW how to fix this on-going problem (you're far from the
only one), as opposed to "try this" or "try that." I never even received a
response. The standard answer seems to be "reinstall BCM," which I have done
twice to no avail. There are posts here going back several YEARS and no
definitive solution. (I run Outlook/BCM - two separate installations - on
both a desktop and a Thinkpad, and can't get the report generator to work in
either). Sorry I wasn't able to offer you some help; perhaps one of the
numerous "try this" posts here on this list will work for you (try searching
under "reports" or "cannot generate reports," I don't remember which I used
to find other posts on this topic). Good luck,

I have tried the reinstall but last year the patch downloaded as afar as I
can tell a complete replacement of the BCM that's on my installation disc
which never really worked properly so I assume that that will overridden if I
re-install. The current program recognises nothing on the disc (e.g. for
repairs)
