Hi Vinod,
Your report is either too wide or too long for your current printer
settings. For example, if you have left and right margins of 1.0 inch, and
you are using 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper in Portrait mode, then your report
width cannot exceed 6.0 inches. For the same example, if you have top and
bottom margins of 1.0 inch, then the sum of the heights in the various
sections (Report Header, Report Footer, Page Header, Page Footer, Detail,
etc.) cannot exceed 9.0 inches.
If you are close (for example, the report width is 6.0198 inches), but you
cannot get it to take a setting of 6.0 inches, then you likely have some
control, such as a line, label or text box that is crossing the allowed width
setting. In this case, it can be helpful to display your report in preview
mode, on page 2 (blank page), and then magnify the page several times (like
say 500x). Then inspect the left-hand side of the report for any evidence of
a protruding control.
