Reports displaying blank pages

Vinod

Hi All,

I've access 2003 report forms, when I ran the report I'm getting data in 4
pages but page 2 and 4 are blank, where it should show two pages of data in
Page #1 and #2 only.

Please helpmeout in resolving blank pages in reports.

Advanced Thanks

The report is too wide for the printer, but only enough for
the margin to spread onto the second page.

Hi Vinod,

Your report is either too wide or too long for your current printer
settings. For example, if you have left and right margins of 1.0 inch, and
you are using 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper in Portrait mode, then your report
width cannot exceed 6.0 inches. For the same example, if you have top and
bottom margins of 1.0 inch, then the sum of the heights in the various
sections (Report Header, Report Footer, Page Header, Page Footer, Detail,
etc.) cannot exceed 9.0 inches.

If you are close (for example, the report width is 6.0198 inches), but you
cannot get it to take a setting of 6.0 inches, then you likely have some
control, such as a line, label or text box that is crossing the allowed width
setting. In this case, it can be helpful to display your report in preview
mode, on page 2 (blank page), and then magnify the page several times (like
say 500x). Then inspect the left-hand side of the report for any evidence of
a protruding control.

Thanks Tom for your response.

The logic which you mentioned is resolved my issue in removing blank pages
in reports.

Once again thanks for your response.
