Report with 2 columns

I have a report that is a work ticket. This work ticket prints one record per
ticket per page. What I want is for the report to print two work tickets per
page. Although I belive that the setup is correct, the report refuses to do
what I wish. The report dimensions are 3.3021" wide and 5.5" long. In page
set-up the page is set for 2 columns, Row Spacing is 0" and Column Spacing is
0.1". The Column Layout is set to "Down, Then Across" and the Right and Left
margins are set to 0.125".

I know this should work and I know it is not these above setting that is
making the report behave in this manner. My question is has anyone
encountered this problem and how can I make an adjustment to make this work?
What do you think it could be?

I found the anwser from some old posts.

Although the report was only 3.30 inches wide it seems that if this report
has a report header/footer and possibly a group header/footer this setup or
combination to these formats do not work well with the column option. By
deleting the fields in the report header and pasting the fields to the top of
the detail section and deleting the group header, it works.
