Report to Excel

I have an app which I'm now using with Access 2007

With the old Access 2002 I was able to preview the report and then select
Excel to send it to
an Excell file.

Since upgrading to Access I can no longer select Excell - its grayed out
I can select text but NOT Excel

The person who wrote the app no longer works with company
How can I enable the Excel button??

Sorry, you can't in Access 2007. This ability was removed when Microsoft lost
a lawsuit on the ownership of the feature.

You can export the underlying query.
