I am trying to get Report Manager added to a new laptop's copy of Excel.
I am running Excel 2003 on a Windows XP machine. I know the Excel
2002 add-in works on Excel 2003 in an XP environment because I got it
to install on my desktop. But I cannot seem to make it install on the
laptop. I downloaded rptmgr.exe from Microsoft and executed it. After
agreeing to the license agreement, it seems to run (it's so quick that I
cannot see exactly what's happening) but the add-in does not appear in
the list of add-ins in Excel and I cannot find reports.xla when I do a
file search.
Can anyone help?
Also, does anyone know while Big Bill deleted Report Manager from
Excel after the 2002 version? How do they expect us to print large
documents from Excel without it? (for example, I have a financial
model and the print out of the results is 68 pages. It would be
virtually impossible to print it out one Custom View at a time!!!)
