When I want to reply to an email and it is the first email of the day that I
reply to , I hit the reply button and it taking over 60 seconds for the
cursor to appear in the memo area. Any suggestions what is causing this
problem.

I have seen this as well. It might be that there are a lot of emails in the
Inbox, and possibly also if there are a lot of entries in the Contacts
folder.
