Reply and Forward Arrows

I replied to an e-mail and noticed that the original e-mail I replied to did
not have the purple left arrow over the envelope icon. I would like to
confirm my theory as to why this would happen. My theory is that this
happens when an e-mail being replied to is saved in the Drafts folder prior
to being sent. I found this to happen with forwarded e-mail also. Could you
confirm this is correct?

I am using Windows Mail 6.0.6000.16386 on Windows Vista Ultimate.

Thank you for your feedback.

I'm noticing the same problem, however i'm not saving the reply or forwarded
mail to the 'Drafts' folder first. It's difficult to know or remember if I
have replied or forwarded my mail without this icon change to the mail. Is
there anything that can be done to correct it. As I am forwarding and
replying to a lot of emails, its essential for me to know which ones I have
replied to without searching through my sent folder.
