Replmon vs Wait replication

At one conference i hear the following comment:

Is better to wait the normal replication time than force replication with
any utility (replmon, repadmin, etc).

Anyone know why ??

Generally if someone is forcing replication it means they have a half-assed
setup that for some reason requires it. Best to look at why the setup is
half-assed versus forcing it.

AD will be fine if you force it though it may be less efficient from a
compression and data on the wire standpoint.
