There are 2 DCs in the site. After adding a user account in a group on one of
them, the user account does not show in the group on the other DC. Does
anybody know this? Thanks.

How long have you waited and did you refresh your screen?

Default replication between sites is about 3 hours.

More than one day. 2 DCs are on the same site. I checked the 2 DCs and found
the problem after user complained.

and if you kick the DC and force replication using sites and services?

what are event ID errors in the directory services event log?

also run:
DCDIAG /D /C /V
NETDIAG /DEBUG /V

post only parts with errors

The naming context is in the process of being removed or is not replicated
from the specified server.

That is your problem. You have the same name and the system has old info
from the dc. I would recommend demoting the current dc that is sick,
cleaning up your metadata and then repromoting.

If the system won't demote then do a dcpromo /forecremoval

Once removed follow the instruction in the link below

Once cleaned up go back and repromote the dc.

I used ntdsutil to do Metadata Cleanup before building the new DC.
