Replication errors

Anyone know what might cause this? I have 2 domain
controllers running SP4. Replications seems to be ok...
I ran the replication monitor and all looks well.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NTDS Replication
Event Category: Replication
Event ID: 1083
Date: 3/31/2004
Time: 4:17:21 PM
User: Everyone
Computer: DC02
Description:
Replication warning: The directory is busy. It couldn't
update object CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=ecopy with
changes made by directory 38b553a4-ffd4-4fca-a58a-
b30011797ee5._msdcs.ecopy. Will try again later.

Thanks!

Scott,

It looks like you have a 'single-label' domain name. We can tell this by
looking at the Replication warning where it mentions
CN=Administrator,CN=user,DC=ecopy and with the msdcs entry of the Domain
Controller ( 38b553a4-ffd4-4fca-a58a-b30011797ee5._msdcs.ecopy ). The
alphanumeric entry is the GUID of the Domain Controller. However, the point
of this is that there would normally be a .com or a .local or whatnot at the
end. So, we would normally see CN=Administrator,CN=user,DC=ecopy,DC=local
and 38b553a4-ffd4-4fca-a58a-b30011797ee5._msdcs.ecopy.local.

Please take a look at the following MSKB Articles:

Does this help you?
