replicating files and folders

What i would like to do is have a copy of a folder/file on one server and
have another copy of the same on another server and both to update everytime
there are changes made. So it acts like a reduddant server for us in the
event of on server going down.

I would be grateful if you could give me some solutions.

Thank you

Require help with below.

The File Replication Service is having trouble enabling replication from
dcserver2 to dcserver1 for d:\winnt\sysvol\domain using the DNS name
dcserver2.johim.int. FRS will keep retrying.

Following are some of the reasons you would see this warning.

[1] FRS can not correctly resolve the DNS name 2dc0051.johim.int from this
computer.

[2] FRS is not running on 2dc0051.johim.int.

[3] The topology information in the Active Directory for this replica has
not yet replicated to all the Domain Controllers.

This event log message will appear once per connection, After the problem
is fixed you will see another event log message indicating that the
connection has been established.

I have dfs root on dcserver1 and have configured file replication from a
folder in dcserver3 to a folder on a memberserver4. It replicated couple of
folders and then decided to stop an now i can see this message on dcserver1.

I do not have the dcserver2 as its offline. I have frs running on all
servers?

Please help
