I have a Dell PC.

I added a D: Drive fdor my MP3s (for my Ipod).

I have noticed that the D Drive has really fast read rates (50mb per second)
whereas my C Drive is slow (15mb per second).

How do I replace the C Drive (ie how do I get the system transferred?)

Free advice and software from
www.xxcopy.com

Norton Ghost from Symantec.

Some prefer Partition Magic. And there are many other "disk copying"
programs.

Most hard drive manufacturers have software for cloning drives. If it
didn't come with the drive, it's usually a free download from their
website. I have had exceptionally good luck with Western Digital's Data
LifeGuard tools. With those, one of the drives has to be a Western
Digital though.
