My Windows 2000 boot (C:) drive is about to fail. I have
installed a new drive next to this one. After I copy the
files to the new drive what more do I need to do to have
it boot from this new drive. In the past I would sys the
new drive. What about WIN2K?

Running NTFS.

Any help would be appreciated.

If your backup tape included the System State then you should
be able to boot from the new disk as it is. If this is not the case
then do this:

- Boot the machine with your Win2000 CD
- Select Repair when prompted
- Select Repair Boot Environment when prompted
