I would like to 'setup' a situation like this,,,, have my computer
record the programs I like from "over the air" TV. I would
appreciate input from those 'outther' who have gone before me, and
can help me with the 'mistakes' I would like to avoid. thanks in

If you're using an All-In-Wonder card (or similar ATI TV card) with
MultiMedia Center it's easy. Just hook up an antenna to the card, and you
can set MMC's TV function to record from whatever channel at whatever time,
just like a VCR. It helps to have a lot of free hard drive space of course.
