replace index.html

I know I've seen this, but could you please tell me how to replace my
index.html? I have built another site with a different URL, but I've
decided I like the new url info better, and I want it to come up in the 1st
URL instead of the new one.

rename the old one index_old.html, then name your new one index.html...then delete the old one if you want to or save it forever.

then do a Recalculate Hyperlinks to be safe, and Publish up to your server.

Hi Laura,

If it is IIS/Windows box, then in IIS->Website properties->Documents
tab->add the newdefaultfilename.htm.

Thank you so much for your answers. I have learned so much from this
newsgroup.
rename the old one index_old.html, then name your new one index.html...then
