Repeating a series of animations

I have created a powerpoint slide with series of animations. I have 4
pictures on the slide that fade out as another 4 fade in. The images are
arranged one on top of the other. This is repeated with about 10 sets

I need this series to loop, or I need to copy the animations several time to
create 10 minutes worth of material.

I can not get to the first set of pictures to apply more animation to it
without moving all 10 pictures that are exactly on top of it. The slide is
very large already memory wise, so I don't want to have dupicates of the
pictures or the slide.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can use custom show to loop a particular slide.
Click Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Put a checkmark to Loop Continuously until Esc.
Next, Click Slide Show > Custom Shows.
Click new and add the particular slide that you want it to loop.
Ok your way out.
Create an action button on a slide that is hyperlinked to the Custom Show.
This will activate the custom show when the action button is clicked.
Now, go back to the particular slide, click Slide Show > Slide Transition.
Put a checkmark to Automatically after.
Right click on the thumbnail of that particular slide, select "hide slide"
so that this slide will not be seen unless you activate it.

See if this works for you.
