I have recently change web host providers. Ever since, I have been unable
to login using FrontPage. I can access my web host provider using ftp, but
when I attempt to access the system through FrontPage I receive repeated
username and password prompts. I have worked on this for several hours with
my provider but they have left me with "its not their problem - everything
works on their end". Their last suggestion was that I try to access my web
from another machine.
My machine uses Windows XP and FrontPage2002. I tried to login to my web on
three different machines with the following results:
1) Successful on a machine that has Windows 98 and FrontPage 2002
2) Successful on a machine that has Windows 2002 and FrontPage 2002
3) Unsuccessful on a different machine that has Windows XP and FrontPage
2002.
Is there an option or security setting in Windows XP that I may need to
change that is preventing me from logging into my web? Any suggestions are
helpful since I believe I have run out of resources from my web host
provider.
Thanks in advance for any responses received
