Repeated notification for KB832894 Cumulative Update

My system keeps prompting me that this IE 5.5 cumulative
update is ready to download. I do, but a few days later
its back. Is this normal? Is this a standard "bucket" that
MS puts new updates into?

System: Windows 2000 Professional SP4
Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2
 
Hello Alex,

IE 5.5 is only supported on WinME machines.

The best thing for you to do is to upgrade to IE 6.0 and than install IE
6.0 SP1.
