KB832894 update that won't update

Windows Update determines that there is an essential update, KB832894:
Cumulative security-update for Internet Explorer 6 service Pack 1 and
installs the update. When I go to installation history - status to look at
it, there stands installation SUCCEEDED. The day after Windows
Update AGAIN answers that there THE SAME update KB832894:
Cumulative security-update for Internet Explorer 6
service Pack 1 and I can install the update again.

This has been going on since the beginning of February. Other updates are
carried out normally, both essential and ordinary are afterwards gone at
updates to INSTALL. I have installed this patch at least 20 times
successfully.

Lucky you, mine worked and now I wish it didn't, I don't get the directory
tree in explorer.
Tried reinstalling EI 6.0 and starting in SAFE mode but no go.
