repeated activation XP

I had to re-install XP Home due to some hardrive glitches
and have installed SP-2.

I now get the "Activate Windows" notice every time I
start up or restart my computer. I go through the wizard
and it tells me it has been activated. Then I have the
same thing when I start up my computer again. Any ideas?
