repairing windows XP home & SP2

I want to try repairing XP home and SP2. However, I have purchased 3
computers with Windows XP. I did not keep notes on which CD came with which
computer. Am I going to mess up the licenses if I use the wrong disk on a
computer?

(I have been advised to reinstall or repair SP2 because I am unable to
capture video. I have been unsuccessful at uninstalling)

Thanks for the quick reply! I have run Belarc and now see the key code.
Belarc reports SP2 and KB 885884 as "lack data to allow verification." All
otehr updates through 2/13/05 look good. Is repair appropriate in this
circumstance?

What problem are you trying to solve by doing a repair? If SP2 is on your
system and your cd is not SP2 then you need to create a slipstreamed copy of
XP + SP2 or you will get an error message saying that the version of Windows
on your computer is newer than the one on the cd.
