Repair option

Hey i though i did a repair of windows but when it came up is was a new
install, no data was actually lost but the programs, and profiles werent
there, the were in the program files dir! So i know i did something wrong,
but when it came up i now im thinking i dont think i seen repair
option....why wouldnt i seen it?? Does XP Home OEM not have this option??

My guess is you did not properly perform a repair install
but instead elected to perform a new installation.
