Repair install XP SP3

I have an XP SP3 system that I'd like to run a repair install on (I
have a backup of the data folders in case it doesn't work). I have an
XP SP1 install disk, and can download the SP2 and SP3 network updates.

Do I "have" to slipstream them into a new, single disk, or can I run
the repair option on the XP SP1 disk, and swap to new cds when SP2/SP3
files are needed?

No as you have no way of knowing what files are replaced. Better just
to slipstream.
