Reoffere of XP service pack 3 (KB936929)

Hi all, my computer is offered XP service pack 3 a dozen times. I have never
successfully installed it without getting hung, with or without me disabling
my antivirus software. Anyone has a clue how to fix this problem?

Disable your antivirus and any other similar software when installing SP3.
If you are afraid of getting infected, disconnect from the network and then
disable your antivirus.

Not necessary to disable your firewall or antivirus during the SP3
installation.I've done it on six computers,with no trouble at all.

Be leery of advice from a SPAMMER. They have a different agenda than
their pretense of giving help. This one does know how to put his spam
