Reoccurring Task Issue

My boss, has set up reoccurring tasks in his Outlook. He said they work fine
for a bit…then stop reoccurring. I asked all the obvious questions…end or
stop date etc. But he said he set them up with no end date. The only weird
thing – is he does access his calendar sometimes from his Treo phone (it has
internet access). When he dismisses a reminder – could it be cancelling the
reoccurring task? He can still see it on his calendar…he just doesn’t get
the reminders. I'm stumped

When a task is recurring, outlook doesn't create the next instance of the
task until the current one is marked "complete". If you just dismiss the
reminder, the task is still incomplete.
