Renaming Netbios Domain Name

I installed Small Business Server 2000 and made it a
domain controller. Since the Domain name was over 15
characters I kept the NetBios name as default but the
customer didn't like the change. Is there anyway that the
NetBios name of the Domain be changed without running
Dcpromo and redoing the whole process. The Domain is in
Native Mode.

Two options - demote and re-promote the server or upgrade your DC to Windows
2003 and run the rendom tool (assuming you don't have exchange installed)
