Renaming jpeg with Irfanview

Hi , somewhere in this group I saw that it is possible to rename a
whole batch of jpeg at one go..eg.."Mother 1" Mother 2" Mother3"
etcetc when all the jpegs are in the same directory...but I cannot
see how to do it and cannot get any help from the help files.
Can anyone here help

1.- Open IrfanView and select the menu 'File', 'Batch
Conversion/Rename'.

2.- In the 'Batch Conversion' dialog browse to the folder containing
the jpgs you want to rename, select them and click on the 'Add'
button.

3.- Click on the button 'Set rename options' and type the new name
template, click 'OK'.

4.- Click start.

Done

Check Batch Rename
Set Rename Options button
Name Pattern = Mother 1 etc.
Highlight pic's
Add
Start
