Renaming icons on taskbar

[The Old Timer]

I have renamed some icon very easily. Some other icons appear to get
there name & a description from some other place. By that I mean you change
the name & the new name is accepted but if you hover the cursor over the
icon when it's on the taskbar you still get the old description. How do you
change these?

Right click on the icon - select properties - and if you
can change the description you'll see a comment area
under shortcut tab.
