renaming c:\documents and setting

hi. the man who set up my computer named a systems folder
c:\documents and setting\karem but i want to change this
to c:\documents and setting\khurram
i have windows xp pro. c:\documents and setting\karem is
a systems folder and it wont let me change its name.
any help?? thank you much

Hi,

You can't change it. You can create a new user profile with the preferred
name and copy over the files and settings you want while logged on as
administrator. Then use that profile and delete the unwanted one.

Is it possible that you are trying to do this while you are logged in as
yourself. This would cause XP to 'lock' that folder. Just remember if
you rename that folder, you may experience problems since there are
registry keys that connect your user ID to that folder.
